Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA)

Students from all income backgrounds are encouraged to fill out the FAFSA. This form will determine the amount of federal, state, and school aid a student may receive. This includes scholarships, grants, loans, work-study opportunities.

The Scholarship Collective provides students of all ages and backgrounds with access to free scholarship lists, advising chats, and essay resources though a weekly newsletter. Premium services are available.

CareerOneStop Scholarship Database

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, CareerOneStop provides a database with nearly 10,000 scholarships. When using the database, students can search for scholarships that align with their background and education goals.

529 Plan

A 529 Plan is an investment account that can be utilized for education-related expenses. In addition to saving, some states provide tax credits or deductions for contributions to a 529 Plan.
